Learning can be a consistent source of happiness throughout our lives, and there is increasing evidence that it contributes to health and wellbeing as we age. The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Kentucky continues UK’s 40 year tradition of lifelong learning in Lexington and extends it to Morehead and Somerset. We have recently received several generous grants from the Bernard Osher Foundation to support our lifelong learning program. At the same time we became a member of a growing national network of OLLI’s at this country’s major universities.

More than 800 “seasoned learners” are now members of the OLLI at UK. If you are at least 55 years old, we invite you to join us. If you are not yet 55, just think what you have to look forward to! .
